How do I book Miss Holiday and the Swingtones?
The easiest way to book the band is to complete the Contact Form and we will reply quickly to your enquiry. If however you would prefer to talk to us personally then please phone Graham on 07726 559117.
How much does it cost to hire the band?
Prices vary depending on the type of event, the location and the day of the week and the time of year. Contact us with your requirements and we'll get back to you with a price.
For how long will the band play?
A usual evening is 2 x 50 minutes or an equivalent playing time that suits your event, we're very flexible!
Do we have to provide PA/sound?
We will provide our own high quality sound system.
Do the band have public liability insurance?
Yes, the band have full Public Liability Insurance.
When will the band arrive and set up/sound check?
This will depend on the nature of the event. For example, a party with guests arriving at 7.30 pm the band will arrive approximately 6.00pm to load the equipment into the venue, set up and sound check. Arrangements for weddings will be discussed with the client so the band can arrive and set up as discretely as possible at a suitable break in proceedings. An early set up can be agreed for a nominal charge.
What happens in the band's breaks?
We can provide background music through our PA, prior, during our break and for 30 minutes after the conclusion of our performance.
Will I have to provide a meal for the band?
This depends on the distance and time of the event. Some functions, e.g. Weddings, require us to be present from early evening to late at night, therefore we would ask that a hot main meal be provided for the band. We do require soft drinks to be provided.
If the band is playing at my wedding, can I choose a song for the first dance?
Yes, we do have a number of songs in our repertoire that are appropriate. The band will always try and learn/play your first dance when possible. If not we can play the original through our sound system.
